SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans went back in time on Tuesday, as the two teams were forced to replay the end of the second quarter after halftime.A Solomon Hill foul on DeMarcus Cousins should have put the Kings in the bonus and thus resulted in free throws for Cousins. But the Pelicans number of team fouls was miscounted. The mistake was caught at halftime, at which point the Kings held a 51-48 lead. Officials then put 18.9 seconds of the second quarter back on the clock, with Cousins at the free throw line, nullifying two points scored by the Pelicans ETwaun Moore.Cousins made both free throw attempts, and the Pelicans Langston Galloway missed a 3-pointer, changing the halftime score to 53-46.Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said hes never seen such a thing happen in an NBA game. But it was pretty easy, he said.
